Surge of books by AI

Books are the pillar stones of preserving and communicating knowledge effectively across communities, societies and generations. I noticed a book Micro-Rhetoric: Simple Language Shifts to Sound Clear, Calm, and Credible on Amazon with 5 stars and its author "Kate Marcelline" has no trace on the internet. In the era of GenAI, it is not surprising to see the rise contents generated by AI. But an uncomfortable truth is the rise of AI authors and their books. This is alright as long as the book is authentic for the knowledge it delivers.

Youngsters are already consuming massive amount of AI generated content through various social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, etc. But the skeptic in me argues that the impact the AI generated books will have on the young minds that will shape our society is going to be unprecedented in a longer run and I'm not positive we will have a happy ending.
